Refund Policy

Cancellation & Refunds

Plans change — we get it. Here’s exactly how refunds work if your ʻohana can’t make it after all.

Tier 1

Cancel by May 30, 2026

Full refund of every fee paid, minus the $25-per-person deposit. The deposit is non-refundable because it covers the venue & reunion-shirt commitments we make on the family’s behalf as soon as you sign up.

Tier 2

Cancel by July 25, 2026

50% of the remaining balance refunded. The deposit and the other half cover catering and supplies that are already committed by this point.

Tier 3

After July 25, 2026

No refunds. By this date all venue, food, and shirt commitments are paid out and unrecoverable.

How refunds work

  • Timing. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of the cancellation request.
  • Cutoff time. All cutoff dates are evaluated end-of-day in Hawaii Standard Time (Pacific/Honolulu). A request submitted at 11:59 PM HST on the cutoff date is in-bounds for that tier.
  • How to request. Email kbcohanareunion@gmail.com with the name on the registration. We’ll confirm the refund tier and process it from the admin dashboard.
  • Partial cancels. If only some attendees in your registration need to cancel, the same tier rules apply per-attendee — we’ll refund the portion attributable to the cancelled attendees.
